When Marcus Ralph Parry (aged 20) married in Bethnall Green in 1898 he gave his occupation as photographer. In the early 1900s he lived and worked as a photographer in the North East London area. Then in 1907 he was listed as a photographer in St Marys Street, Southampton. By 1911 he had relocated to Eastbourne, Sussex, where the census recorded him as a photographer living with his wife and family, and 20 year old Jenny Breach, photographer's assistant. In 1915 Parry signed up for service with the Royal Flying Corps. At the start of WW1 The Royal Flying Corps carried out reconnaissance and aerial photography. Parry died in Hailsham, Sussex in 1955.
